Help me, Rhonda, I’ve done it again!

So as I mentioned before, I am providing treats for The Believer’s next launch party, (details here) and Brooklyn Brewery is the alcohol sponsor. And I said to myself, “Self? What do you want to make with all of that free beer?”

I don’t know if I was feeling sentimental about the fact that Mallomar season is nearly behind us, or merely curious to see if I could make the darn things myself (thus changing Mallomar “season” to be EVERY season - because, who would not want a self-contained s’more EVERY SINGLE DAY OF THE WEEK I MEAN SERIOUSLY?) but suddenly making Mallomars with beer-infused marshmallows was something I absolutely. had. to. do.

So I did. And as usual, I couldn’t leave well enough alone and I added a layer of dark butterbeer caramel between the graham cracker and the marshmallow (because if it’s an option, why wouldn’t you?) and all I can say is, I have a massive doubling-over-type stomachache because I have eaten WAY too many of these today and the truth of the matter is: I don’t regret a single bite.

Not one.

Now. Because “Mallomar” is a trademark of Nabisco, and I need to change the name to reflect the booze factor (and after all, it’s St. Paddy’s Day for crying out loud), I’m thinking about dubbing these “Mal-O’Mores”.

But I’m also accepting other suggestions. Got any?
